Setting up email alerts (Property alerts) is a great way to keep up to date with your local property market and to not miss that potential new home, as you can receive summary emails of properties which might interest you. They are easy to set up and there is no limit to how many you can create.
To create an email alert, you will need to be signed into your SmartNewHomes account.

Creating email alerts
- Go to www.smartnewhomes.com
- Click Sign in/Register
- Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
- On the Home tab, add in your search criteria for your new home (Location, Min/Max price, Property type and Bedrooms)
- You can click Advanced search options to really tailor your results, and, click if you only want to show Help to Buy eligible homes
- Click Search
- On the right hand side of your search results, click Create email alert
Creating saved searches
Saved Searches allow you to receive email alerts for when there are new homes in your search area.
- Go to www.smartnewhomes.com
- Click Sign in/Register
- Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
- On the Home tab, add in your search criteria for your new home (Location, Min/Max price, Property type and Bedrooms)
- You can click Advanced search options to really tailor your results, and, click if you only want to show Help to Buy eligible homes
- Click Search
- On the right hand side of your search results, click Save this search
- The Save this search window appears. Select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new homes in your chosen area
- Click Save search
If you want to create saved searches based on prior searches you have made:
- Go to www.smartnewhomes.com
- Click Sign in/Register
- Enter your login credentials and click Sign in
- Hover over My Account and click Alerts and Searches. In the Recent searches section, searches you have previously run will appear in this list
- In the Actions column, click Save to save the search as a new email alert
- You can now Name your search, and select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new homes in your chosen area
- Click Save Search

- Tap My Account
- Tap Alerts & searches
- Enter your login credentials and tap Sign in
- Tap the Recent searches section to expand it
- Tap the radio button (circle) to the right of any of your recent searches
- Tap Save
- Once again, you can Name your search, and select the frequency that you wish to receive email alerts for when there are new homes in your chosen area
- Tap Save search
